Week Three.

This week Lakshmi is really pushed to her limits. The experience is challenging her physically and mentally. Lakshmi meets a new friend who she finds very comforting in her experience, and I think he is the reason Lakshmi is still alive in that horrible ‘happiness house.’ He brings happiness to her, by showing her respect, and treating her as a human, not a slave or animal, as she has spent most of her life as. He gives her the feeling of being appreciated, which makes her happy in such a lonely and dark place. I feel frustrated that the police or authorities have not stopped this organisation yet. It sickens me to think that there are police out there tracking down people for speeding once off, or parking in the wrong spot, while there are places like this, where little innocent girls are living out their lives. No one deserves to grow up in these conditions, thinking that these places are the real world, because there is so much more for them out there in the world, I hope that next week, Lakshmi discovers that place for herself.
